Mexico Family Vacation

Today our whole family, yes, all 8 of us, descended on the Cancun Iberostar Paraiso Beach Resort for a week of family togetherness. We arrived from San Francisco, Louisville, and Spartanburg within a 30 minute time span. We took the bus to the resort and checked-in. After settling in our rooms we headed off to dinner. Everyone was happy to be where it was warm and the only person that was disappointed was Hudson; he was so sad that it had turned dark before he got to go to the beach! We promised him that would not happen again and it didn't. Each of our 7 days was filled with time at the pool, long days on the beach with lots of wave jumping and sand castles, good food, and a tremendous amount of laughter. This was our first time all together in 3 years and we made the most of it. Relaxation and fun was the prescription and we each had a daily dose. No one was ready to go home and even the weather did not cooperate. Those of us flying east had long delays but our west coast crew who had the longest flight and left the latest made it home first. After a week of so much fun I'm quite sure it will not be 3 years before we do it again.
